Do I need to change my code?

No. Token Canary hooks into Claude Code and optimizes context before it reaches the model. Your workflow stays the same.

How do I start the free trial?

Install the CLI and run tokencanary setup; your 30-day trial starts then. When you're ready to subscribe, run tokencanary upgrade from your terminal. After payment, run tokencanary license to sync your CLI.

Can I subscribe from the website?

Yes. For the license to work with the CLI, run tokencanary upgrade from a machine where Token Canary is installed so your install is linked. We recommend installing the CLI first, then running tokencanary upgrade when you're ready to subscribe.

What if I already have an install?

Run tokencanary upgrade to open the upgrade page with your install linked. Your subscription will attach to that install.
